An outline of my approach and ways of working

Who do you work with?

I work with ambitious start-ups, established organisations and specialist consultancies across sectors including finance, energy, property, infrastructure and technology. Many projects involve complex or technical content where clarity, consistency and attention to detail are essential.

Whether helping a new business establish its identity or supporting an established organisation to evolve its communications, each project is approached with the same care and strategic thinking.

What services do you offer?

My work spans brand identity, publication design, literature systems, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates, bespoke WordPress websites, brand guidelines and user guides.

Some clients commission a single project, while others come with a broader brief from the outset. During the briefing process, clients can also discover additional possibilities as we explore the wider objectives of the project together. The focus is always on creating the right solution for their organisation.

Do you work across print and digital?

Yes.

Whether it’s a beautifully crafted publication, a bespoke website or a wider communications project spanning print and digital, every piece is designed to communicate clearly and work cohesively with your brand.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Absolutely.

Some projects begin with a completely new identity, while others develop around an existing logo or build on an established brand. The aim is always the same: to create clear, cohesive communication that strengthens your organisation and works across every touchpoint.

Do you create templates and brand guidelines?

Yes.

Bespoke Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates have become a distinctive part of my offering. Rather than adapting off-the-shelf files, every template is designed around your brand and the way your team works, making everyday documents and presentations easier to create while maintaining consistency.

To support long-term use, every template and bespoke WordPress website is supplied with its own practical user guide, giving your team the confidence to manage documents, presentations and website content in-house. Brand guidelines can also be developed to support the consistent use of your visual identity.

What’s your approach?

Every project begins with understanding.

From the first conversation onwards, I take time to get to know your organisation, objectives and audience before developing a clear creative direction. Throughout the process, ideas are refined collaboratively, ensuring every design decision supports the brief and communicates effectively.

How long does a project take?

Timescales vary depending on the scope of the project.

Smaller design projects may take a few weeks, while larger branding, publication or website projects often develop over several months. Timescales are discussed and agreed at the outset, with clear communication throughout.

How much does a project cost?

Each quotation is tailored to the scope of the work.

As a general guide:

• Publications from £1,500

• Templates from £1,500

• Branding from £2,000

• Bespoke WordPress websites from £2,500

Larger strategic branding projects and website commissions are often more extensive, with costs reflecting the scope and complexity of the work.

If you’re unsure what’s involved, I’m always happy to discuss your requirements before preparing a quotation.

Can you work with our internal team or external suppliers?

Yes.

I regularly collaborate with internal marketing teams, writers, photographers, developers and agencies, integrating smoothly into existing teams and ways of working where needed.

How do we get started?

It all starts with a conversation.

Some clients arrive with a detailed brief, while others simply know something isn’t working as well as it could. Either way, we’ll discuss your objectives, explore the options and decide on the best approach before any work begins.
